Project refers to the overarching structure that CIP funds have ownership in, e.g. Unicus, Monegros, Vineyard Wind I.

​Asset

Asset refers to underlying physical investments in the project, e.g. different Solar PV, On/Offshore Wind or Battery Storage assets.

​Material service provider/principal contractor

Main service providers and most significant counterparties on the project.

​Supplier emissions factor

Often reported by utility operators, reflecting the energy sources used in producing electricity. Utility operators may be able to provide a general declaration, and/or individual declaration where the emissions factor (gCO2/Kwh) will be stated.
