Introduction

The purpose of this questionnaire/data collection exercise is to provide input to be able to calculate the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) KPIs which CIP must report under mandatory European Union Regulatory Disclosures, as well as CIP's Annual ESG Investor Report. The figures and data presented in these reports will be assured/checked for consistency by Deloitte. In providing this assurance/consistency check, Deloitte will only have contact with CIP persons.

Much of the data for each project in the EU Regulatory and Investor ESG reports will be aggregated and presented on a portfolio basis, so it is imperative that the persons completing this questionnaire follow the definitions, scope and data guidance provided. This spreadsheet specifies where further documentation is required to support the answers given. A column for 'comment / explanation' can be used to provide further details or context for any inputs given.

The requested data is to be completed by the relevant investment manager and the on-site representative(s) of the project. CIP's Investment Manager is responsible for the data collection, including distributing the spreadsheet to the relevant on-site representative, and returning the completed spreadsheets to CIP's ESG Team - Vanya Rusinova (see contacts below). To help facilitate the data collection process, the data collection template is split into two files - an internal and an external questionnaire. CIP's Investment Manager is responsible for filling in the 'General' tab in both files before sharing with colleagues on project site. In addition, CIP's Investment Manager is expected to fill in the 'Financial' tab and the 'Social and Gov.' tab in the internal data gathering template.

The completed spreadsheets (incl. accompanying documentation) are to be returned to CIP's ESG Team no later than 29th of January 2024.

The ESG Team will then compile and aggregate the data in order to present the relevant figures. CIP's ESG Team may reach out to CIP's Investment Manager for clarifications on any data that is not clear. Any data received later than this may result in CIP breaching relevant regulations.
